KIVSH is a multifunctional creative space for business development, partnership, art, education of a new brand, city, and its innovations, which arose as a result of the revitalization of the Lviv forklift plant. In the times of Austria-Hungary there were military barracks and warehouses, in the interwar period there were barracks of Polish artillery, which not only housed the army but also had an artillery repair base. After the outbreak of World War II, at the end of 1939, Red Army workshops were located in this area. This specialization was preserved during the German occupation. In the second half of 1944, Soviet heavy front-line equipment was repaired here. Later, this infrastructure was transformed into the Lviv Forklift Plant, which fell into disrepair after the collapse of the Soviet Union. Interesting historical and architectural heritage has inspired investors and architects to turn this area into a modern multifunctional creative space.
